Hey street photographers! 👋
Today we're going to talk about a fundamental trick in street photography: the arrangement of subjects.

The Dance of Planes
One of the keys to making our images work is to photograph multiple subjects, each in a different plane. This creates a kind of visual "dance" that grabs the viewer's attention and invites them to explore the photo.
A Simple Example
The photo I'm showing you (it's nothing exceptional, but it serves to illustrate the point) shows how the composition leads us from one subject to another. We start with the two men on the left, then our gaze moves to the man in the cart, then to the woman with her back turned, and finally to the man sitting down. The image invites us to move across it from left to right, and then to start again.
Imagine...
Now imagine a similar photo, but with a touch of dynamism. The first subject is doing something (playing music, talking on the phone, etc.), the two men on the left are fighting, the woman in the shadows is falling, and the last man is running. The image would be much more dynamic!
The Power of Composition
Although the example is a bit exaggerated, the idea is that the arrangement of subjects in different planes can create a sense of movement, tension, or even humor.
Remember: it's not about creating dramatic scenes, but about using composition to guide the viewer's eye and tell a story.
